Texas Codes

Choose one of the two code files to import into your CrimeSoft Advanced 9.5 or later 'Code Lookup file'. Below is a list of the files and docs contained in the download..
Special thanks to Asst. Chief Phil Taylor of the Elgin, TX Police Department for providing the data used in compiling these files.

 

--What is in the download file (bottom of page)--

A quick look at what is contained within the two code files including instructions. READ THIS FILE FIRST!
One file 'All codes.fp7' has almost 2000 crime,classification, and codes ( PC or penal codes, ABC for alcohol related offenses, animal control, workplace violations, election violations, and many others)
The other file 'Partial codes.fp7' has almost 1000 codes. Including all penal codes and others that are used on a day to day basis by most departments. However the less frequently used codes such as animal control,workplace violations, election violations, etc have been removed.

A PDF File showing a list of all the crime, classification and codes in the 'All codes.fp7' file. downlaod this file if you would like to view the codes available prior to selecting one of the download files listed below.

---Then choose only one of the two files below for importing into CrimeSoft---

The 'All codes.fp7' file. This is the file you will use when importing the actual code records into your CrimeSoft system.

The 'Partial codes.fp7' file. This is the file you will use when importing the actual code records into your CrimeSoft system.

Click the Download File button (below) to download the"TXcodessetup.exe" file. Running this file after downloading will install all of the above files into a folder on your desktop.
